AWB, Landscape, 18-55mm lens, RAW The photo of the shell in Yellowstone, I think is a good micro shot. The detail in the moss underneath and the swirl of the shape, is really attractive to me. Its a very abstract photo. The photo of big lake out in molt, was very light in the foreground, so I darkened it and tried to draw more attention to the sun rays,. I left the grass, because i think it looked really cool.

Wildflowers of Montana This summer I took over a hundred photos of wildflowers, trees, and shrubs for my Wildflower class. In total I collected over seventy plant species from Montana, Washington, and The Galapagos Islands. First Yellowstone Trip Thursday BLOG

I went to Yellowstone for my Hiking through the Geysers Class. I got some great photos, and tried some new photo takes that I've never done before. These included getting the stream photo below, with the slowed down water and clear rocks, which I really liked. I also got some night photos of the milky way that I really was excited for.
